For those of you working with infants with CHD, this is a great resource which includes a primer on CHD pathophysiology and nutrition needs. These infants are among our most fragile feeders, at risk for aversions and failure to thrive. The more we understand normal and altered structure/function of the heart, and the impact on nutritional needs and feeding, the more informed our clinical reasoning and our engagement with the team will be.
